We're not sure if you've heard about the latest rage in New York City, but it's called Do (pronounced "dough") and it is a raw cookie dough bar. Yes, it is as fantastic as it sounds and the line down Laguardia Place in the Village is sometimes an hour long!
We decided to do a cookie dough recipe that is a little bit more athlete friendly. Let us know how you like it.
Edible (healthy) Cookie Dough
Ingredients
1/4 cup coconut flour
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1/4 tsp sea salt
2 Tbsp nut butter of your choice
1 Tbsp maple syrup
1/4 cup nut milk
Chocolate chips to top
Preparation:
1. In a small mixing bowl, add the dry ingredients and set them aside.
2. In a microwave-safe bowl or on the stovetop, melt your nut butter with the maple syrup until they're combined. Pour the nut butter mixture into the dry mixture and mix until a crumbly batter remains.
3. Add the nut milk a tablespoon at a time until a cookie dough remains. Enjoy immediately or refrigerate to thicken up.
