You know those nights, you've eaten your dinner and find yourself scrounging the pantry for any cookie or piece of candy you can get your hands on. Or it's "that time of the month" and you NEED chocolate or someone is going to get hurt. Suffer no more, I've got you covered dancers! Today I'm going to share three easy ways to satisfy that sweet tooth without sabotaging your health goals. All of these recipes are super quick, delicious, and plant based, so you can actually feel good about indulging. Mint Chocolate Chip Banana "Nice Cream"
Ingredients:
2-3 ripe frozen bananas
1 tsp peppermint extract
big handful of dark chocolate chips
Combine bananas and peppermint extract in a food processor or high speed blender until creamy. After blended, transfer to a bowl and stir in chocolate chips.
Creamy Hot Chocolate
Ingredients:
1 cup almond milk
2 tsp organic unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp stevia
Combine ingredients in a sauce pan, whisk together and heat until warm.
Microwave "Apple Pie"
Ingredients:
1 small green apple, chopped
1 tbs oats
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp stevia
1 tbs water
honey or maple syrup
Combine all ingredients in a mug, microwave for 1 or 2 minutes
stir well, drizzle with honey or maple syrup.
