How To Fake An Epsom Salt Bath With This $15 Product

Ever wanted to take an Epsom salt bath to soothe those achy, post-Nutcracker muscles, but you just don’t have the time or energy? Or maybe you’re like me, and your small downtown apartment only has a shower, allowing you to only be able to soak your feet and calves in makeshift containers or empty trash cans.

Sore+Tired Blue contains equal parts magnesium sulfate (Epsom salt) and magnesium chloride in water and aloe.  It is also mixed with other emollients, and vitamins, as well as rosemary leaf and grapefruit oils. It is a great, all-over formula for general muscle fatigue and soreness. I used this product on my arms, neck, and back muscles. (I also tweaked my back in a yoga class, and after using the Sore+Tired Blue for a few days in addition to resting, I noticed relief from the pain and stiffness that I feel would normally have taken much longer.)

Sore+Tired Gold was specifically developed for runners, dancers, skaters, and other athletes who need a product more specifically for the areas of the feet and lower leg. This formula uses potassium chloride instead of magnesium chloride to help treat overused muscles. It contains the same amount of mineral salts as the Blue formula but has slightly different vitamins, botanicals, and emollients so that it works better for the feet and calves, especially when massaged onto the muscles. (I gave myself many post dance and post yoga foot massages using this one!)
